Description

FEQ427R368 The Emerging Business & LATAM Field Enablement Manager builds the enablement strategy that helps Databricks win new customers, move faster in high-volume territories, and grow platform consumption across the Emerging Business and Latin America segments. Much of this field is early in their careers and sells in a high-velocity motion across large books of accounts. The role partners with Sales and Field Engineering leadership to turn segment priorities into measurable gains in seller skills, ramp time, pipeline, and consumption. The Impact You Will Have • In the first 12–18 months, build a prioritized enablement roadmap for approximately 500 account executives and field engineers across Emerging Business and LATAM. You'll review progress and business impact in regular leadership business reviews. • Help new sellers ramp faster with repeatable onboarding and foundational skills programs covering prospecting, discovery, qualification, pipeline management, deal progression, and technical proficiency. • Raise seller productivity in a high-velocity motion by building enablement that scales: repeatable plays, self-serve content, AI role-plays, and in-deal tools that reps can use across a large number of accounts. • Grow enablement-influenced pipeline, new logo activation, and consumption by helping field teams prioritize accounts, run efficient sales cycles, and land and expand across their territories. • Improve how AEs and field engineers work together in a high-volume motion, including clear guidance on when and how to bring in technical resources to move opportunities forward. • Adapt global and AMER enablement for LATAM's markets, languages, and buyers. Partner with the Scale Motion Lead and Global Enablement to apply shared playbooks to the segment, and build a measurable feedback loop that turns recurring field needs into prioritized programs and scales what works. What We Look For • 6+ years of experience in sales enablement, revenue enablement, field enablement, sales, or technical pre-sales in the technology sector, including experience supporting both commercial and technical audiences. • Demonstrated experience enabling early-in-career sellers (for example SDRs, BDRs, or new AEs or Solution Architects) and building foundational sales skills programs that measurably change seller behavior. • Experience supporting high-velocity, high-volume sales motions, where you design for leverage, repeatability, and self-serve before live delivery. • Proven ability to build and run an enablement function or major program from the ground up in a fast-moving environment. • Experience serving as a trusted advisor to senior Sales and/or Field Engineering leaders and turning business strategy into prioritized enablement outcomes. • Exceptional written, verbal, storytelling, and presentation skills, including the ability to influence executives and engage large audiences. • A measurement-oriented approach to enablement, with experience connecting readiness, skills, and behaviors to pipeline, consumption, ramp, or other business outcomes. • Experience using AI technologies to create, scale, measure, or deliver enablement, plus the ability to build working knowledge of data and AI concepts, Lakehouse architecture, and the Databricks platform. Nice to Have • Proficiency in Spanish and/or Portuguese. • Experience supporting LATAM or other multi-country, multi-language field teams. • Experience enabling emerging, startup, digital native, or commercial segments, ideally in a consumption-based sales model.
