Description
Escorts patients (ambulatory, wheelchair or gurney) within the health care system. Communicates with and observes patients during escorting procedures and takes appropriate action to ensure patient safety. Provides nursing care to chronically and/or acutely ill patients under the minimal direction of the Registered Nurse, Nurse Practitioner, and/or the physician. Provides support to perioperative department. Provides nursing care in the outpatient setting, promoting wellness and prevention.
