Description
The Maintenance Worker (WG-4749-08) performs a variety of maintenance and repair duties at the Augusta VA Medical Center. Responsibilities include carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC repairs; preventive maintenance; equipment installation; and facility upkeep. The position requires proficiency in using hand and power tools, interpreting technical instructions, troubleshooting equipment, and maintaining a safe, functional environment for Veterans, staff, and visitors.
