Description

About Tia Tia is building a new model for women’s healthcare, one that treats women as whole people rather than as separate conditions or life stages. By integrating primary care, gynecology, mental health, dermatology, and wellness across in-person and virtual settings, Tia is creating a more coordinated experience for patients and providers. About the Role Tia is hiring a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide specialized women’s health services for our Pasadena patient population. This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced outpatient clinician who works confidently and independently, possesses strong gynecological procedural skills, and wants to care for women across different life stages within an integrated healthcare model. Why This Role Stands Out • Integrated Care Model: Practice medicine the way it should be practiced—collaborating seamlessly with mental health clinicians, gynecologists, and wellness providers to treat the whole patient. • Specialized Focus: This role is tailored for a clinician who is passionate about reproductive health and gynecology, allowing you to utilize your procedural skills daily. • Highly Competitive Total Rewards: A strong base salary ($150,000 - $170,000) supplemented by a 10% performance bonus and company equity. What You’ll Do • Women’s Health & Procedures (Core Focus): Provide routine gynecologic and reproductive healthcare, including Pap smears, contraception counseling, STI screening, and evaluation of urinary and vaginal symptoms. Perform IUD insertions and other procedures within your clinical scope. • Care Coordination: Review test results, develop care plans, communicate next steps, and coordinate follow-up across both in-person and virtual care modalities. Provide occasional inbox or clinical team support when not scheduled for visits. • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with physicians, APPs, nurses, and clinic operations to maintain consistent patient experience standards. What You’ll Bring Required Qualifications • Credentials: Active California NP or PA license; Current national board certification (e.g., ANCC, AANP, or NCCPA); Active DEA registration. • Core Experience: 3+ years of independent outpatient primary care experience, with a heavy emphasis on routine gynecologic/reproductive care and the proven ability to perform IUD insertions. • Operational Mindset: Comfort using EHRs and technology-supported workflows to deliver care across different settings. • Care Philosophy: A strong commitment to inclusive, trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and patient-centered care. Preferred but not required: Experience performing Nexplanon insertions or colposcopies; providing LGBTQ+ inclusive and gender-affirming care; managing anxiety/depression in primary care. Schedule and Work Location This is a full-time role in Tia’s Pasadena clinic. • Monday through Friday schedule, with dedicated time for both in-person clinic care and virtual care delivery. Note: The third Saturday of every month is required on-site (with a preceding weekday off). #LI-Onsite Compensation and Benefits Tia is committed to pay equity and pay transparency. Individual compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, qualifications, and relevant clinical expertise. The base salary range for this full-time position is $150,000 to $180,000 annually. You are also eligible for: • Performance bonus (10% target) • Company Equity grant • Comprehensive Medical, dental, and vision • 401k • Parental leave • Malpractice coverage • Paid time off (PTO), sick leave, and holidays • $1,500 CME allowance and licensing reimbursement • Access to clinical tools and ongoing training resources About Tia Tia is on a mission to transform healthcare for women by increasing access, improving outcomes, and delivering a better care experience. Our “Whole Woman, Whole Life” model integrates primary care, gynecology, mental health, dermatology, and wellness across in-person care and a national virtual platform. We are a Series D, venture-backed company trusted by more than 120,000 women across four markets. This position may require attendance at company and team off-sites. Scam Notice Tia will never ask for payment, gift cards, or sensitive financial information during the hiring process. All communication from our team will come from an official company email address ending in @asktia.com. If something feels off, please contact peopleservices@asktia.com . Equal Opportunity Tia is an equal opportunity employer. We believe diversity of experience, perspectives, and background leads to a better environment for our employees and a better product for our users and patients.
