Description

About Tia Tia is building a new model for women’s healthcare, one that treats women as whole people, not separate conditions or life stages. By integrating primary care, mental health, gynecology, dermatology, and wellness across both in-person and virtual settings, Tia is improving outcomes, lowering costs, and creating a better experience for patients and providers alike. About the Role You will play a pivotal role in advancing Tia's clinical strategy, improving patient outcomes, and shaping the future of women's healthcare. This is a highly strategic, hands-on physician leadership role focused on identifying opportunities to improve care, designing system-wide quality improvement initiatives, and continuously evolving Tia's evidence-based care model. Why This Role Stands Out • The 50/50 Leadership/Clinical Split: This role is the "holy grail" for physician leaders. It is exactly divided between clinical leadership (2.5 days) and direct patient care (2.5 days), ensuring your strategic decisions remain grounded in frontline clinical experience. • Executive Visibility: Reporting directly to the Chief Medical Officer, you will serve as a strategic advisor and thought partner, helping define what high-quality, whole-person care for women should look like at scale. • True Impact: You will have the resources and mandate to challenge traditional healthcare delivery, turning evidence and quality data into meaningful changes across all of Tia's markets. What You’ll Do • Clinical Quality Strategy & Population Health: Analyze clinical performance data and population health trends to proactively identify care gaps. Design, implement, and measure system-wide quality improvement strategies and targeted clinical interventions. • Care Model Innovation: Stay at the forefront of women's healthcare research. Partner with the CMO to continuously evolve Tia's integrated care model, translating emerging evidence into clinical policies, protocols, and care pathways. • Clinical Education: Foster a culture of continuous improvement across Tia's clinical organization. Develop targeted clinician education and training programs that address quality gaps and strengthen clinical decision-making. • Direct Patient Care (50%): Maintain an active, in-person clinical practice for approximately 2.5 days per week, delivering high-quality primary and women's healthcare. • Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with Clinical Operations, Analytics, Learning & Development, and the Clinical Advisory Board to ensure quality strategies are scalable and sustainable. What You’ll Bring Required Qualifications • Credentials: MD or DO with board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine. Active, unrestricted medical license and willingness to obtain additional state licenses as needed. • Clinical Experience: 5+ years of post-residency clinical experience, with a strong foundation in primary care or women's health. • Quality & Strategy Experience: 2+ years of experience leading clinical quality improvement, population health, or care model transformation initiatives with demonstrated impact on patient outcomes. • Analytical Mindset: Proven ability to interpret clinical performance data, identify systemic gaps, and develop measurable, evidence-based improvement strategies. Preferred but not required: Experience in an integrated, value-based, digital health, or high-growth startup environment; formal training/certification in healthcare quality or clinical informatics; experience leading a clinical advisory board or quality committee. Work Location This role is open to candidates based in the New York City, San Francisco, or Los Angeles markets. #LI-Hybrid Because this role includes direct patient care approximately 50% of the time (2.5 days per week), regular in-person work at a designated Tia clinic within your market is required. The clinical quality leadership portion of the role will support teams and initiatives virtually across all Tia markets. #LI-Hybrid Compensation & Benefits Tia is committed to pay equity and pay transparency. Compensation for this role will be determined based on job-related factors, including experience, skills, qualifications, location, role leveling, business needs, and market conditions. The expected base salary range for this role is $275,000 - $315,000 . You are also eligible for: • Performance bonus (10% target) • Company Equity grant • Comprehensive Medical, dental, and vision • 401k • Parental leave • Malpractice coverage • Paid time off (PTO), sick leave, and holidays • $1,500 CME allowance and licensing reimbursement • Access to clinical tools and ongoing training resources About Tia Tia is on a mission to transform healthcare for women by increasing access, improving outcomes, and delivering a better care experience.
